Melt butter in saucepan.
In a separate bowl mix milk, eggs, flour and baking powder – add melted butter and continue to mix.
To cook pancakes, heat 1tbs of butter in a frying pan over a medium heat. Pour a ladle of batter into frying pan and cook for 1 - 2 minutes or until bubbles appear on the surface. Turn pancake over and cook for a further minute.
Serve with either butter, cream cheese or homemade freshly whipped cream.
